CRAIGSLIST PERSONAL AD: I love riddles and being active; do you?

I'm an active girl looking for someone who doesn't like to sit around and do nothing. You want to grab life by the balls (or whatever) and make something of it. You've got to be an accepting guy, and ready for anything.

Who am I?
I'm a 27 year old half-Latina half-Caucasian college graduate. I went to Gonzaga University for my BS in wetlands biology and started Eastern New Mexico University for graduate work in Latin American politics, but never finished (I was on a Latin kick for awhile). Currently, I work for a small start-up that makes solar-powered septic systems. The system tends to back up for extended periods of cloud-cover (since it is solar and doesn't store enough charge). My job is to remove and clean out the ones that experience 'Cloud-Cover Backup' and reinstall them. No, it's not as glamorous as it sounds.

I enjoy activism. I get a kick out of attending rallies and protests, so I try to attend one or two each week (sometimes more if time permits). I'm about 80% liberal, and my activism is reflected in this. Recently, I've attended a couple of immigration rallies, a rally for the LAX hotel service workers, women's rights, pro-choice, support for stem cell research, support for Kyoto Protocol, support for the Catholic church, support for gay rights, etc. Sometimes, I stand for an issue at odds with the typical liberal cause, but I've learned how united we are as human beings when one day you might be shouting at someone about values you disagree with, and the next day you're locking arms with them yelling at the people you were the day before. Life is about yin and yang.

If you're interested in social and political activisim (sans violence), let me know. I think a good first date might be to go to an upcoming rally to protest the government-sponsored distribution of Duvantin on 2/10/07 (I have no idea what it is, but I'm sure we'll find out). Maybe afterwords, a bite to eat and a trip to the beach? Who knows..

So here's what I'm looking for:
I want an accepting guy. Sometimes, I think guys don't understand me. I'm really easy to get along with, as long as you do as I say...Just kidding. See? I just want fun. I've faced some problems involving boyfriends. I felt my exboyfriend understood me, but he left me (I changed my hairstyle to his, dressed like him, and met him at his parents house for his birthday; as a prank, this didn't go over well with anyone). I want a man who is an artist. I don't care if you paint or draw or sculpt; if your medium is life itself, you will understand me.

I want a guy who isn't ashamed of his girlfriend. My exboyfriend waited several months before he introduced me to his mother. When he introduced us, his mother launched a barrage of insults. He joined her. It was a lot to put up with, but I thought they were joking at first (though I'd wrongly thought she'd find it funny to introduce myself as the woman who was stealing her son from her forever).

It's easy, right? I don't care what you look like. Caucasian and/or Latino would obviously be pretty cool, but whatever. I'll find it fun if you invent a hippy name for yourself (like Flower, Bumblebee, or Lightning), and one for me (give it a try!).

I want to see if you can answer the following riddle. I figured it out after a few minutes, but it takes some longer. Draw it out if you're stuck, because it'll make more sense. Even if you don't get it right, I want to hear from you, but I insist that you give it your best try:

An ant, an antellope, and a cantaloupe are in a room. There is one door, and only one can get out at a time. The ant and the antellope can eat the cantaloupe. The ant can't eat the the antellope, but the antellope can eat the cantaloupe. Obviously, the cantaloupe can't eat either of them, nor is it a living object. There is a staircase leading down outside the door. Who can leave the room, and who must stay behind?

Trippy right? Good luck. Send me a pic if you want to see more of mine.

several possibilities

1. ant goes to eat the cantaloupe, as does antelope, while eating it, the antelope eats both ant and cantaloupe

2. antelope can ignore the cantaloupe and go for the door and ant stay to eat cantaloupe

3. both ant and antelope leave while cantaloupe stay

4. none of them leave since none can open the door... but that depends on whether its a perfect door or some door ant ant can crawl under

are my ramblings even close to the real answer? lol

thx this was fun
